Steam Game Key Location

Hi guys, I received a new Skyrim game for xmas and I signed up for steam and it started the install and when it asked for a 'Product Code' (cd key) I couldn't find it anywhere in the sleeve or on the cd itself. Adobe photoshop serial number free. The guys at play n trade told me its on the back of the instruction manual but I couldnt find it. However when I buy a game that redeems on Steam that isn't from Steam, I put the key in an Excel file which I keep (also has where I bought it from, how much, date, etc.) Since I didn't do this for the stream because of how quick it was, I don't remember what these keys are. Is there a way to view it in Steam? Or a registry or something? Steam featured items sales page. Search our site for the best deals on games and software. ANSWER:

If a key is needed for your game, there are 2 ways for your to find it:
1- When you first launch the game, Steam will automatically display any key needed for further activation.
2- In your Steam Library, click on the game in the list of games, then, under the Links menu on the right, click on CD Key.
Some games do not require key activation, in this case, you will not see the CD key option. Also, please note that the CD key option will only appear if the game is already installed or if the installation is started.
