Thinkpad X200 Driver
I installed Windows 10 on my x200t today using the Windows Update option. Overall, it's been okay. I was happy that the Wacom digitizer worked right from the start with pressure sensitivity, as well as the touch screen (although the touch screen experience isn't that great as I'l say later). Also, Office 2010 works good, and think pad power manager starts up and displays information (I don't know if the battery saving functions work - haven't had time to test the battery life yet). As far as speed goes, its maybe a bit slower than 7, but nothing not tolerable after turning off some effects. There are a few problems though. One is the touch screen. The model of mine has the mediocre resistive touch screen. And one of the (only) positives of resistive technology is that the screen is far more accurate than newer capactive touch screens. This results in more movement being picked up from your finger, and this means that when a capactive screen would see your finger perfectly still, the resistive screen sees that slight movement - and registers a scroll movement, not a tap. Although this does not effect all programs (actually desktop apps seem unaffected), other apps become virtually unusable without the stylus. Another problem is the screen brightness. While you can control the brightness of the screen with the keyboard shortcut and the windows menu, the minimum brightness available in Windows 10 is about 50% actual brightness. This becomes a huge problem when I'm trying to use the computer at night, or save battery life. If anybody knows a solution of this problem, or has any questions, please ask!
